Hiring Process

We pride ourselves on having a seamless and efficient hiring process that values the candidate experience balanced with our organizational needs. Here’s a breakdown of our hiring process and the best practices we follow:

Screening and Selection:

Once we receive your resume, a Staffing Manager will assess your qualifications and confirm if there is an alignment for an open role. We carefully screen candidates based on relevant skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Interview Process:

If you meet our initial screening and selection criteria, we will invite you to an in-person interview. Our interviews assess your skills, experience, and suitability for open roles. We also allow you to learn more about our company and answer any questions you may have.

Application Submission:

If the Staffing Manager determines that you are a fit with one of our clients, we will have you complete an application. We encourage all interested candidates to reach out, regardless of previous experience or background, as the Apartment Industry is always seeking new talent.

Onboarding and Documentation:

Upon successfully passing the interview stage, we will guide you through our onboarding process of completing necessary new hire paperwork. We also conduct a background check to ensure compliance and safety within our organization.

Timely Placement and Support:

If you meet the requirements of an open position, we may be able to offer immediate placement so that you can start working on the same day. We provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure a smooth transition into your new position.

No, we offer a variety of positions to suit your needs. We have temporary positions for those looking for short-term work, temp-to-hire positions for those interested in a trial period before committing to a full-time role, and direct-hire positions for those ready to jump into a permanent job. Whether you’re looking for a temporary weekend position or a regular full-time opportunity, we do our best to find the right match for each individual

Do I need experience in the apartment industry to get a job?
Not necessarily. We look for positive energy and a go-getter attitude. The experience needed depends upon the position you are applying for. Depending on the position, we look for existing or transferrable skills, such as sales, customer service, or entry-level maintenance experience
Do you offer any training?
Yes, if you have sales or customer service experience, we offer a foundational leasing class for those seeking a leasing position. This class covers the basics of leasing, customer service, and fair housing best practices for property management, providing you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in your new role.
Do you require drug screening as part of the pre-employment process?
At Legacy Apartment Staffing, we maintain a drug-free workplace in line with federal guidelines. The decision to conduct a pre-placement drug screen is made based on each employer’s policies and the client’s direction at the time of placement.
Once I've started an assignment, when and how often do I get paid?
Our employees are paid every Friday. For your convenience, we offer direct deposit.
